Coalition of nuns calls for impeaching Bush and Cheney

“The National Coalition of American Nuns is impelled by conscience to call you to act promptly to impeach President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for ... high crimes and misdemeanors,” the group wrote in a letter written on behalf of its board members.

The letter says that impeachment is warranted for their “deceiving the public under the false pretense that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction” and “destroying” the reputation of the United States and the good will of other nations.

“The time for impeachment is now — before the example of George W. Bush’s regime is set in stone,” they wrote. “Future generations will thank you for preserving the freedom of our nation and its relation to the entire human community.”

Haaaaaa! I LOVE it.

PRINCETON, NJ -- A new Gallup Poll finds Congress' approval rating the lowest it has been since Gallup first tracked public opinion of Congress with this measure in 1974. Just 18% of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing, while 76% disapprove, according to the August 13-16, 2007, Gallup Poll.

uring that same meeting, the board unanimously adopted statements opposing all war and affirming peacemaking efforts. “Rather than continuing support of a just-war theory, a more compassionate church would oppose all war and teach peacemaking skills for all levels of government and interpersonal conflict resolution,” the statement reads. Obviously, these nuns are also in disagreement with the Church. I don't have to respect these nuns.

 

Well, if they have done something illegal, then maybe they need to be impeached.

It's time to ditch Bush and Cheney and the lot. Either criminal misinformation, or criminal mishandling. Anyway, I'm a foreigner, but that's my thought. I'm surprised they haven't been impeached already, really.

 

Please post some facts backed by the U.S. Legal Code, Section, Paragraph, and Line.

 

Bush admitted violation of the FISA after lying about getting warrants. They reinterpreted the Geneva Conventions to allow for torture.

 

um the wire tapping and aren't you being a little pomus demanding technical details of the legal system from a me when i do not have anything other than base knowledge of the legal systems. also the war in iraq is thechnically speaking illegal
