Hay Q... com guess how many dollars in the Guess Game... eh :-) http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=2617649&postcount=776
Hey Phlo, notice that James said I am flaming religious people, when it is quite clear that I go to great lengths in making sure I'm attacking their beliefs and not them personally. It's really too bad James has to lie like that to make his point. Maybe he found god? "Just to let you know, comments such as "Happy Ram-a-plane" will no longer be tolerated from you. Neither will your constant flaming of religious people, telling them that they are psychotic, violent, nutty etc. every second post. This is just a heads-up. Please don't reply with a whiney "You have to be kidding! These religious people are nuts. Double standards. Bias. Blah blah blah." I'm not debating you; I'm telling you."
What did James say to you about talking to Lori? I think if James has a problem with you talking to Lori, James should stand down as a mod, and use his newly found free time to rediscover the point of a forum.
:roflmao: i always thought you were an annoying little irresponsible pesty little kid who didn't know his place and bothered the adults with his tastelessness in humor.. but "Phuk Yu"?? :roflmao:
"the very foundation of science is ignorance." - Sciforums Christian [Lori] [Thought I'd spam you with that].
Funny the members most ppl hate, I seem to get along with fine....You, Baron. Wonder what that says about me...hmmmmmmmmmm ;)
It is not MY fault the fact that you can NOT debate issues according to reason. You try to fight. I try to debate .
People like you with all of your scapegoats, and all of your excuses, and all of your finger pointing, and all of your hate and fear, are what's wrong with this world. These are also the very same things that keep you from god. And that's no ones fault but your own.
Q, don't you notice that everything you have to say to me is derogatory, arrogant, accusational, and antagonistic? Regardless of what you believe, or why you believe it, or how you view others beliefs, there is no justification for your behavior other than that is the way you wish to act, and to treat others. If you claim that your beligerence is contingent upon anyone other than yourself, then you are admitting to not being in control of yourself, or responsible for your own behavior. your "us against them" mentality, that saturates everything you say on here makes me wonder what you would do if left to yourself, entirely independent of others' points of view. i imagine you would be huddled in a fetal position in some corner sucking your thumb.
It takes no intelligence at all to have faith, but it requires intelligence to distinguish faith from reason. If only it were that easy. Reason is my friend, but faith is my lover. In my humble opinion, and from the tally of experience, there is certainly more to faith than meets the eye, or should I say, than meets the third eye. For the record, I, as you, detest organized religion and all the hypocrisy and suffering it stands for. My agnosticism is a product of incredible epiphanies that was bestowed upon me. Thus the door is open until further notice.
Q-I know we don't get along, but I think we can agree to disagree on one thing. Organized religion is not good. I agree. Let the people believe whatever,(or lack one) but organized religion doesn't even try to make sense or be of value. Not what I came here for-#1 You would love religulous if you haven't seen it. American film check it out. #2 Stephen Law is one of my favorite recent philosophers, he is an athiest/friend of dawkins, and has a blog on blogspot, though the url might just be www.stephenlaw.com or something. Just been thinking of you!
