Science has held that mind and body are one for some considerable time. "Perhaps" does not enter into it. Try to stay current!

Understanding reality is of particular importance to all of science and Philosophy. It would be selfish not to share these visions I get on it. And to lock it up to a single thread in a subforum entitled "Pseudoscience" can mean a tremendous loss.

The vast majority of people experience nothing but the physical and assume that is all there is, hence atheism.
The keyboard is there to be felt because it has established itself in your mind as an object that your senses believes to exist as an absolute, hence "it is there" when in fact it is not really there aside from your mind?
Wasn't there a study that showed that blind borned people fail to imagine color but use some other substitute? What about the association of temperature with color in blind people, is it possible? Can color only be seen because we have only become familiar with it through our eyes and no other sense?
Yes, mind is indeed body. But what of the phenomenon that mind influences reality and that we are participants in this constant evolution of cosmic expansion and material contraction? Where an expanding one-way universe is but an appearance from the perspective of inside observers?

This quote can be found in the “Letters from Ramanasramam” ~13th August, 1946. In this simple comment made in the conversation, Bhagavan teaches us that intelligent and reflective aspirants focus their energy in scanning their own mind and consciousness. It is only by carefully examining the mind, one realizes the ultimate nature of perception.
Bhagavan used to say that all deep thinking people are fascinated by the nature of consciousness. This, of course, makes perfect sense. Since the whole universe is perceived via consciousness, to turn inwardly and examine the source of consciousness is the way to the Heart of all things.
Sri Ramana’s teachings are independent of religion and theology. Bhgavan says, “There is nothing but the Self. To inhere in the Self is the thing. Never mind the mind. If its source is sought, it will vanish leaving the Self unaffected.” – Bhagavan in Talk 97.
Bhagavan has expressed this sentiment many times that instead of focusing on others, we should turn inward and become aware. When a person complained about another devotee sleeping and not meditating, Bhagavan responded, “Mind your own Business.” Here Bhagavan again points out that, “People of intelligence examine their own minds.”

Keyboards don't really exist. There is only undifferentiated material existence, which the mind breaks up into pieces, for practical purposes. This is why it is said in Taoism, "Naming is the origin of all things".
