Taliban

Taliban is a conservative Sunni Islamic Pashtun nationalist group toppled from governance by the United States-led NATO invasion of Afghanistan. The origin of the Taliban lies in a group of ethnic Pashtuns from madrassas in Pakistan; the Taliban received valuable training, funds and assistance from the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) group of Pakistan, apparently from funds given to the ISI by the United States and Saudi Arabia.
