Falling star

A falling star is a type of star that has lost its ability to remain suspended in the sky. Next to fizzling into black dwarves or supernovae, falling from the sky is a very popular death for stars.

• The big dipper was originally part of an even larger constellation depicting a can filled with ground coffee (complete with the word "coffee" written on its side). Unfortunately, all of the other stars fell out of the sky a long time ago leaving only the dipper.
• When ninjas accidentally drop shuriken (which isn't often due to their amazing combat skills), they refer to them as falling stars.
