Regeneration blastema

The regeneration blastema is a dedifferentiation of adult structures to form a mass of undifferentiated cells which can be used to form new tissue and new structures. Differentiation cells are turned into stem cells. The formation of new tissue and structures after injury is also known as regeneration.
