ok, here is one for all you health peoples!!

get this.. so I am not a huge fan of water, but I drink atleast a cup a day..i tend to forget, so I normally drink it at night... well.. here lately I can feel how dehydrated I am... Cotton mouth always, lips feeling chapped, yada... i also end up drinking this huge cup of water with a sleeping/pain pill.. just cuz i am awesome like that.. haha..

are there other ways to get water, with out drinking it? lol! I know I need to be drinking more, but i tend to just space it untill my throat starts to dry out.. i need tricky ways here!

Ive always been a dehydrated person, everytime I end up in the ER, I have to sit in a room for 5hours getting 2-3 fast drip IV's to pump me back up..

You could get an I.V. put in and not have to worry about it!

But really. I bought one of those nifty stainless steel bottles (reusable) and keep it filled and on my desk. I drink at least one of them every two hours. The benefits from being well-hydrated go on and one, but the ones that top the list: more energy, fewer hunger spikes, better skin, better weight balance and you won't be sent to hell when you die. Okay, that last one isn't necessarily true, but I heard it on the internet, so I believe it.

hahaaaa.. I know all the percks of it, and it helps with weight loss, with is just dandy with my fat ass.. lol.. but I cant remember to drink it! I can make me a cup of water, but it doesnt mean I will drink it! tho for some strange reason, if I find a old water bottle full of water, it tastes amazing to me! like, buy a bottled water, and hide it for 2 weeks.. like in ur closet, then drink it.. lol.... i use to have 4 bottles in my room but my daughter broke them all.. and when I was a teen, I would drink a gallon a day!

Ahhh. Ever see that skit (I can't remember what show) with Bob Newhart as a therapist and his method of treating the patient is to scream at them to just "STOP IT!" I can't remember the details, but there was an bulimic, a drug addict and some others. To each one he would yell, "Just STOP IT! STOP MAKING YOURSELF THROW UP [or use drugs, or whatever]!!!"

So to help you. . .

"DRINK YOUR DAMNED WATER!!! EVERY HOUR. DO IT. DO IT AND DON'T STOP!!!"

    There. See if that works.

Ah, if you can carry your phone with you at work*, then you can just set the alarm to go off once an hour, can't you?

Um... Just drink it! Its as simple as that. No one can say some magical incantation here thats gonna help you be more hydrated. Just have some discipline and drink water.

Set up Google calendar to send you reminders on your cell phone at given times. It's a free service.

You need a Gmail/Google account, which is free as well.

A 30oz cup.. is less than 1 liter, while 3 liters a day is advised.
The absolute minimum is 1.5 liters a day, and that increases with physical activity, temperature and sickness.

You are not even remotely drinking enough.

if your insistant on wanting to get water out of food you COULD try something like cucumbers or iceburg letus which are basically mostly water anyway (have you ever seen how much water comes out if you grate and squeze cucumber? WOW).

But seriously how old are you? in most healthy young adults and children the body will TELL you to drink when it needs water. It cant stop you ignoring it but it will make your life unpleasent if you do (dry mouth being the BEST of the symptoms, denigrating into dissness, intolerance to hot enviroments, iritability, confusion sizures, unconciouness and eventually death)
