It is exactly to combat these type of remarks. The fact that you want to label all Muslims as the ones that flew those planes is what leads Muslims that have nothing to do with it to being attacked just because they are Muslim. It has to be curbed. This is one way.

Yes I do, but I don't think limiting free speech is the solution, quite the opposite. There was a grain of truth about accusations against the Jews. Jewish newspapers tended to be opposed to Fascism and sympathetic with Communism. Jews were into banking due to a thousand year old European tradition that prevented Christians from lending money. Preventing any mention of anything bad that Jews might be involved in would be a violation of proper and legitimate public speech. I would object to anything saying Muslims should be killed for being Muslim, but there is quite alot of valid criticism that falls short of this.
