Iran: Nukes? What Nukes? or "We Fluckin Told You So!

I guess that some of you will still swear that Iran is a nuke packing country or will soon be or is capable or had a dream that... To hell with what the USA says, right? I mean it was the US that told you they had them/might have them/thought about having them/had a dream about having them in the first place and you spit in face of anyone who told you different. So I wonder, how will your brain deal with this little... oops? But then again, these are the same folks who told you Iraq had WMD's and you spit in the face of anyone who said different then to.

Heh, the elephant is still in the room though. Should Iran not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons? To the point of using military force to make sure they never have nukes?

Your rant is a little nutty. NO one ever said that "Iran is a nuke packing country." Where did you pick up THAT piece of garbage?:bugeye:

 

While his rant is a little nutty, the article he posted does fly in the face of some who've said that Iran is close to developing their own nukes.

I believe the ones who've said Iran was "close" are a very narrow slice of uninformed people. There's nothing at all to support that claim - not even to mention the outrageous claim made by the OP. It IS just plain nutty!

 

Even if Iran has no nukes, its time to liberate them.

Just make up some more reasons silly.

Unfortunately, its the Iranians who will have to deal with it.
The insensitivity of Americans sometimes is really surprising, even liberal ones.

I went for this "no war on Iran" meeting. There were Iranian students there and American peace activists, among others (many Indians and Arabs too).

At one point in the discussion, the Americans began to joke about the silly reasons given by the Bush administration for the Iraq war, then they began to fool around with possible reasons they may make up to attack Iran. I looked at the Iranian students and they were all silent, none of them even smiling, all of them looking at the Americans, because its no joke to them. But the Americans were having too good a time to even realise that their jokes about bombs and missiles and nuclear strikes were only funny to them.

 

Funny comment considering you're the only one who (albeit sarcastically) suggested attacking Iran in this thread.

In a very real sense, it's nothing BUT a joke. The U.S. has no real intentions of starting an armed conflict with Iran. There would be nothing to gain.

The ONLY thing that might provoke such a situation - and that's a LONG way off - is for the radical wingnuts in power in Iran to finally, actually develop such weapons. It doesn't matter what you think or seem to believe, the U.S. has actually learned something from Afghanistan and Iraq.

 

I never believe in such intelligence crap.. I only believe what Foxnews says and they say we should blow up cars in busy places of Tehran so they will stop messing with us...

 

Hmm would it have worked better if I had make jokes about 9/11 instead?

The distaste is only apparent to those who can empathise Which is why you won't see the above on a Tshirt in Arabia, but you'll see plenty of distasteful humor on Arabs and Muslims in the western media

The most conservative estimate is that Iran will have nukes by 2009, meaning that they don't have them now.

But they're way on their way.

 

You misunderstand my post, I wasn't justifying any American who makes light of such an issue. I was pointing out that you're ranting against the insensitivity of Americans in regards to an attack on Iran when the only one to joke about attacking Iran in this thread is you.

Not that the presense of double standards in S.A.M.'s rhetoric is still surprising to me, but it is kind of dumbfounding to watch someone flip back and forth in such an oblivious way.

 

Yeah look at all the Iranian batlleships in the American gulf. The regime changes, the war next door. Now that was sarcasm.
