It's all a matter of degrees for me. I like neither deathly pale OR excessively dark tans. A happy medium is best.

Strangely I've never found tans sexy, although naturally darker skin is quite nice. I'm obviously a very complex person.

 

I'm the same. I'm not a fantastic fan of the ol' tan. I guess it just lyes with preference.

Medium tan, not too dark and not too pale. Although I prefer naturally born tans, like latin descent.

No, I don't like tans. If a person is naturally dark, then that's fine. But I hate that "tanned" look. I absolutely loathe it.

One advantage of a tan is the increased pigment hides flaws. Very pale skin shows off every imperfection. The huge downside is the damage done to the skin in order to get a tan. It's high time a way was found to stimulate the melanocytes without exposure to damaging UV light.
