Hrm. In theory I could help you. However, the account I would let you use isn't even mine and the likelyhood that you would get caught is very high considering it's an account for a LAN center in Dallas Texas and you are in Europe using it.

Are you downloading Half Life stand-alone or are you downloading it off Steam?
If you are downloading it stand-alone.. you are wasting your time for CS 1.6.
www.steampowered.com. Download that. Find a CS Key (you should be able to buy one off e-bay or at any gaming store for $5.). You'll need a key for Half-Life 1 because if you get a HL2 key, it might still make your pay for 1.6.

half life counter strike pack.iso is what im downloading....im not sure if it will be patchable, but probably, with a bit of tinkering. i am pretty ingenious when it comes to modding game files.
Hrm. Good luck with that one. Because the game engine for CS is just one really big file. Same for all the other games.
CS is 270 megs and HL1 is 400 megs.

i have an uber connection, so it shouldnt be an issue as long as you arent on dialup.
