eeeh does any one know where to set user rigths on files/folders in XP, i always used W2K as i dislike XP. Anyway I wanted to do my normal RMB -> proberties -> Security tab but in XP there is no Security tab and i cannot seem to find any other places to set file/folder user rigth.

so my question is where do i set user rigths on a file or folder in Windows XP?

edit
testings OOC.

PHP:
$this_is_not_a_string = "I Am A String";
$this_is_not_a_integer = 1;

while($this_is_not_a_integer)
{
  print("Never ending storiiiie ");
}

if($i_will_never_run == false){
  print("this sucks");
}

Windows XP admittedly isn't too friendly with the folder/user privilege method like the CHMOD of *nix systems, the same problems is always raised when people want to CHMOD folders and files for use with PHP and their home webserver.

I would suggest following this URL:
http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Message/php-windows/1975130

If you follow the discussion tree, it should explain how to invoke folder rights on XP Pro, if you've got XP Home then you might have probs.

the PHP part was OOC, perhaps it was misleading i just felt like testing something, but as you say there is a possible solution in the link.

the XP box is not mine, so i dont know rigth now if its Pro or Home edition, in any even the solution could be.

[Explorer window] -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View::Advanced Settings
List. And the last option in it says "Use simple file sharing
(Recommended)"... well recommended my ass, uncheck it.

chmod, chown are easy to work with, true.
One of the things i dont like with XP, is how things has been hiddin to make it "easier" to use.
