Apparently, wearing "modified Titanium" revitalises mind and body, according to my moronic father and This site
and wiki.

Somehow fatigue is cured through regulation of Bio currents..

Am I alone in thinking that this is BS ? Well apparently some japanese athletes endorse it..

but what would I know. I don't play sports. Clearly I'm not capable of understanding what my own body needs /sarcasm.

Definitely BS.
I love these quotes from their site.

Phiten has developed the Phild processing technique, invented by a Japanese chiropractor and now a time honoured secret.
Um, "time-honoured"?
How long does something have to be going to class as "time honoured"?
A week?
A couple of months?
Titanium is relatively new to the list of workable metals (hell, it wasn't available as a pure metal until 1910, less than 100 years ago, or outside a lab until 1932).

The Phild processing technique aligns the bio-electricity within titanium,
Titanium has bio-electricity?
It's alive?

Pure, unadulterated (but chic) BS.

I thought it odd that if muscle fatigue was caused by lack of ions.. someone would feel happier after being zapped with static electricity, which is essentially a transfer of ions..

Plus, I suspect it's a placebo effect.

There's a couple of links on the relevant Wiki page - which also states that muscle fatigue is NOT caused by lack of ions.

And (for the athletes promoting it) maybe the large sponsorship cheque.
Money always makes me feel energetic. :p
