G geordief Valued Senior Member Apr 28, 2019 #22 If you just boil up your chickpeas (or any beans) with any flavouring you like you can just half mash them and turn the liquid to thick sauce. They are also nice cold later on, like a crunchy hummous without the sesame or the lemon taste.
