There have always been "woke" capitalists (say: the wealthy slaveowner who freed his slaves - and not carelessly, but funded and prepared over time, so that they could undertake lives as free citizens).
There are seldom enough of them. It's too expensive, and they fear losing their wealth.
the smart ones kept them on their land so they were protected by the slave master rule of land.
this allowed the master of the property to seek punitive damage should someone attack the slave on the owners property.
sadly enough the same morality of culture is what has fashioned the usa legal justice system
money is king
no money = no fair trial
the scales of justice were never made balanced to begin with.
the ongoing problem is the capitalization of the legal system to make profit from it.
this forces the system to be considered its own capitalist culture.
the irony of that is peoples open statements about not trusting lawyers.
transference of lack of cultural morality to label themselves un-accountable for social culture and morality by blaming lawyers for the culture they create and propagate.
this pocket-nazi-ism is compartmentalized into functional uselessness by giving absolute power to individuals or groups them labeling them un-accountable
this is the power & corruption of the religious indoctrination of children where the church and god are given unquestioning power over others.
for those whom are lost
police have the legal ability to murder people but they are not allowed to change or make laws and are not held civily accountable to murder charges.
this exempts them from being a useful part of the solution to a legal system that is unbalanced.
allowing police a free-pass to such un questioned power while also labeling them victims of the system which they cant change, gives the seller of such corrupt ideology a broken base to usurp ideological fascism on to.
the american capitalist culture is soo pre-occupied with power and control it is indoctrinated to avoid recognising the moral impasse of uselessness of total power and authority being used as a scape-goat to lack of social accountability.
