What is your heart rate normally?@Idle: Like half an hour after I went running. My rate was still around 140.
What is your heart rate normally?
Also, how much water do you drink? Dehydration (or insufficient hydration) can cause an elevated heart rate.
I hadn't drunk anything for several hours except some Red Bull
My normal heart rate is around 96 when resting.
I think it was caused by dehydration. I hadn't drunk anything for several hours except some Red Bull, and I was having massive head rushes afterwards.
Oh and I should add to this...when Herc says 'before' he means if you are planning on going running Monday morning, you should start drinking water consistently (like 6-8 glasses per day) no later than Saturday Morning. Drink water consistently for at least as long as you continue to exercise, meaning if you start running for six months, you should drink water that whole time. Please, make sure you are well-hydrated with water before, during and after exercising. Forget Red Bull completely.

Ah, good point, I think it was caused by dehydration. I hadn't drunk anything for several hours except some Red Bull, and I was having massive head rushes afterwards.
That's incredible. My resting pulse is the same as my age: 65. I try to keep my pulse below 130 when I'm working out. I do a slow cool-down and I don't leave the gym until it's below 100.My normal heart rate is around 96 when resting.
What's your blood pressure? Dehydration will increase it. You need to take better care of yourself. Drink enough water that you have to pee at least every two hours. And cut back on the caffeine. It's a vasoconstrictor and a diuretic and is not good for your blood pressure.Ah, good point, I think it was caused by dehydration.
