Why are Polish people miserable?

Umm she may have been dead set on teaching you manners but your reply does not reflect this. "Now shorty if anyone says anything to you jump down their throat and declare it bullshit like a good little half germ" :p

I don't feel the need to be so polite here. You need to see me in everyday REAL life, to make that judgement.

Now there I have to disagree. I have a Russian (female) and Ukranian (male) friend and they always have me in stitches, esp the Ukranian guy.

"stitches"? :bugeye:

By the way I had an Indian dream of some sort tonight...very exquisite dream

In real life, do you tell your Indian/Muslim neighbors you wished they would move away? Or that you complain about them on online forums? Do they know what you really think about them?

There's quite a few Polish people where I live, and the first thing that I noticed when they started moving here was that they were very smiley and lively, much more so than the natives. ????

Well then you are being polite for manipulation purposes. If you are a polite person thats who you are. If you are selectively polite then you have an agenda.

Well they don't live on my street so I don't have too. I would however like to ban them from all future garage sales on my street.

You could put up a sign, NO INDIANS OR MUSLIMS

I'm sure they'd get the hint.

I was at a party full of Polish people last weekend, I spent much of the time laughing. They were definitely not grouchy or stiff.

They ran away to North America for a better life, why would they leave?

Why would they leave when the Canadian goverment gives them a nice cheque every month, pretty much the day they get off the boat/plane whatever. They don't even need to get a job to live here.

Hmm are they from Poland or are they second generation immigrants? The people I met are all from Poland.

So do Russians. I think it is due to environmental factors like bleak winters etc. Then after that some residual cultural factors.

Probably they suffer from chronic SAD [Seasonal Affective Disorder]?
