Whitewolf: Of course you'd think so...so long as nobody looks at you. Doctor Lu: Liar. *Disclamier: Valentines day is for pathological ninnies. I can picture all you 'love day' people fucking Jesus.
How about converting it into a day of hate in general, where people who make disgusting statements about love are tortured in sanguine and delightful ways?
Wanting hate? Oh my dear masochist (sp)!.... I won't hurt you.... Well fine, I'll put your tongue up your butt.
How about I rip your eyes out and shove them so far down your throat that you slowly choke to death, tears forming in your eyes as you gasp to bring air into your worthless lungs? A masochist, twit, is one who enjoys suffering the hatred of those he or she deems worthy of imposing it. I'm talking about listening to early Morbid Angel as the earth is cleansed of putrid, insensate fools. That doesn't make me a masochist. It makes me a purist.
people who have such passionate negative reactions to valentine's day are just bitter. if you truly didn't care you wouldn't give it a second though.
Valentine, a day where people eat alot of candy and get fat Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
swede: god you're so naive. look at val day. analyse it. what is it? it's mass stupidity, using emotional blackmail to capitalise on the bunch of emotional crippled sheep, and exploit them for retailers' bank balance. It's the biggest emptional propaganda bullshit since christmas.
Most everyone would like to be liked no matter who they are. There's someone that likes you somewhere in the world today but you have to look for them as well as they do for you..
SwedishFish: You're a poor psychologist and an utter idiot. Nobody is saying that they don't care about the holiday. They do care - they find it intensely annoying. Some of us have standards, and think a holiday devoted to the dilution of love into a homeopathic soup of candy and teddy bears and obligatory once a year blowjobs is annoying and vile. But sorry, don't let me distract you from your ditzy post-feminist haze of "I have a boyfriend! I have a boyfriend! My life has worth in society's eyes, because I have a boyfriend!" I'm sorry if I confused you with the 'big words'. Don't worry though, I'm just bitter because my exceedingly un-feminine intellect has prevented me from finding someone who'll buy me candies and take care of me (to make up for my sixty cents to his dollar) Plus, I'm ugly.
erm ok. i don't have a boyfriend, don't want one, didn't celebrate valentine's day, and haven't ever celebrated it with an SO. i just think it's pathetic when people are so violently opposed to it. what i mean is, it's just a holiday, get over it. pardon me while i go cry about being a lousy psychologist.
No I don't think bitter would be the word to describe them. I'd say mature and have better things to do with their time and money would be how I'd describe such people. I swear, if I have to be subjected to yet another commercial or ad on 'love, kisses, red roses, teddy bears, those sappy satin boxer shorts with sappy cartoons on them, uncomfortable and stiff female underwear in pink covered with ribbons and love hearts and lets not forget the stories of kissing competitions etc, I shall scream. If someone wants to give a gift to someone they love, why in the hell do they wait for valentines day? Valentines Day is nothing but a commercial bonanza for the stores. If someone buys into it, they're fools. And then of course there are the dicks who jump up and down with joy when they get a card or flowers with the "I have someone"... "I have an admirer".. blah blah blah... Please! Get me a bucket! If someone needs to be given a card or flowers or etc to feel that they're loved, I have only one thing to say... ISSUES! I'm not bitter about Valentines Day. I just find it ridiculous to watch dumb people run around buying flowers, chocolates, teddy bears, etc ONLY because it is Valentines Day. It's only a marketing gimmick and people have bought into it like fools. We saw one guy last week ordering a bunch of roses to the cost of $200. Buy those same roses a week later and he'd pay a lot less for them. But this fool was only buying them because it's Valentines Day... the day of love, sweet nothings, sweet things, chocolates, teddy bears.. UGH!! He's been well conditioned. It's only a marketing ploy and it's annoying. If other half bought me a bunch of roses at the cost of $200, I'd stab him with it and then force the red petals up his nose. But then that's just me Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!.
obligatory?? Thats not fun. Half (or more) of the pleasure comes from knowing that the other person wants to give it. Even shallow people understand this. Its the chocolate and competitiveness that get girls in the mood that day.
I dont believe what I said... I just thought it was funnnny Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
So much bashing and flaming, it is rather amusing though. I had a date. Wasn't that great. And it was pizza that we ate. =\ certified psycho: That dating advice was freaking tight. The voice was a little annoying but it fit. hahaha "You don't wanna get mixed up with some broad who has to look at her ass in the morning to know who she is; 'Oh I'm Amy!'" rofl
