................Loads and loads of British television, Some mothers do have 'em, Are you being served?, Sorry, Fawlty Towers, To the Manor Born, Yes, Minister and the very excellent Mind Your Language.

Did you get "It Aint Half Hot Mum" ? - if you did, Sorry :)

Mind you we got Mahabarat to make up for it (it was great on mushrooms tho :D )

I did not have cable TV when I was younger, but I did love the shows Fresh Prince and Home Improvement.

Oh I forgot Home Improvement :)

Btw we didn't have cable either. We had the rabbit ears on the TV.

I remember so many shows, but Space 1999 stands out as better than Star Trek. It started off well but got a little silly with Maya the shape-shifter on board for the second season.

Oh, and I also had a thing for Barbara Bain. Ive always appreciated older women...even when I was fourteen.

We got a TV when I was 10. We watched the Saturday morning cartoons, and football, that I remember.

It was never a big part of my life, then. But I think the younger kids had favorite shows.

When I was growing up, radio was a lot more interesting, edgy, than TV. I used to listen to the FM stations late at night when the signals changed - that was a larger world.

Same here. Television was something we just watched for a couple hours a week. Books and radio were more common.
