What ingredients could make paper brittle?

I know paper can be made out of almost anything and I myself have made edible paper out of food.

My question is this. Is there any ingredients that would break down and dissolve fast if exposed to sun and air for several hours?

I basically want paper that would break down naturally, but at a quickened pace.

I cannot think of anything, so maybe it is not possible. It would need to remain intact until exposed (vacuum sealed?).

Paper is wood pulp held together by glue.

Now if you use a glue that is photo-sensitive, the paper will deteriorate in the sun.

If you just use any bonding agent that has sensitivity to oxygen, that should also work.

Basically, the molecular (or electric, etc) bonds in the glue need to break

I imagine Sodium hydroxide you can soak it in for a day and make CMC ( Carboxy methyl cellulose ) It was I don't know if it is used now as a thickening agent
