The point is that Americans are taught that Hitler told the German people that they should invade Europe and Russia to expand Germany's territory and the German people said, "Good idea. Let's do that" and then they went to war thinking they were the aggressors. Evidently, they were thinking that they were righting old wrongs and defending their territory during the war. Therefore, the American government is lying to the American people about what the German people were thinking during the war.

Whether Hitler was lying when he told the German people those things is another issue that can be dealt with separately.

Now stop sidestepping the issue and tell us why American history students don't hear those two speeches of Hitler's in history classes.

Get real! I don't know where you live but American classrooms present somewhere between ZERO and ONE speeches by ANYONE - including our own presidents, etc.

Now... move on to something else. Or better yet, just drop this whole woo-woo business!!

if they did i seriously doubt if it said hitler had the support of the masses.

The war machine was full of soldiers. The issue is what those soldiers were thinking while they were fighting.

This is stupid, Freddy - you are being VERY foolish. With every war we've been involved with, we've learned MORE details as each war was fought. Start with WW-I and move forward. With each successive war we've had a big increase of news reporters and photographers. The result has been that we've constantly had batter and better reporting on each one.

And beside all this, WHAT POSSIBLE REASON would there have been for withholding information from us?????????? Your approach and reasoning here is plainly STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Hitler's reasons for invading Poland and the Soviet Union are fairly well documented in numerous sources. Without Hitler, there'd probably be no History Channel. The Nazis' motivations, methodology and everything else have been gone over with any number of fine tooth combs by historians (both Allied and German). I'd say there's general agreement among the experts. A few holocaust deniers don't really add anything much of value.
 
Why Hitler invaded Poland:

  • To give Germans lebensraum in Eastern Europe
  • to defend the Germans in Poland
  • to overturn the Treaty of Versailles
  • to oppose Communism/conquer Russia
  • To teach Chamberlain a lesson because he thought Chamberlain would not dare stop him
  • to prevent an anti-German alliance
  • because of the Nazi-Soviet Pact.

I won't have time to take a look at that book for a while but you seem to be ignoring the fact that there are establishment books that have one version of things, and anti-establishment books that have a completely different version.


Americans are taught that the US promotes and defends freedom and democracy in the world. There are lots of books that have that idea as their basis. That's an upside-down version of reality. This is the reality.

Most deaths in the camps were caused by malnutrition, Typhoid and Cholera caused by allied bombing of German infrastructure i.e. the railways.

There were atrocities of course and these were inexcusable.

The word Holocaust is from a Greek word meaning SACRIFICE. They were SACRIFICED for a cause.

No. A sacrifice implies there is no other way... the Holocaust was intended, and carried out, as a "cleansing of the unworthy", a way to get rid of the perceived problem... there was nothing "righteous" or "just" about it.

The malnutrition was deliberate. It was the murder weapon of choice for the Nazis, cheaper than bullets or gas, and most people who died of it weren't even in a camp.
