As I said, you don't get it. And this thread has become a waste of bandwidth. If you'd care to discuss something of substance in another area, I look forward it. I'm done in this one.

Probably, Walker and I am the only ones that mentioned anything about members of long standing. My point, was that members who have been here longer deserve more attention as they are truely the body of Sciforums. At the same time, there is very little of "You've only X amount of posts" and try to blow your stance off with that."
If seniority plagues these boards, it is far less than that of others. If this bothers you, it is easily rectified. Stay around. In that way you become a senior member. Post what is informative and intriguing and other members will think better of you. That's pretty simple. As Porfiry states, "The sole requirement is to refrain from being an arse." None of this is extremely difficult.

Porfiry: For the record, my post explicitly said that I wasn't calling anyone a jerk. It states that I disagree with the action/behavior, not the people. Or, as it turns out, person.
I am the only one with the authority to ban users. In all other cases, the moderators are acting with my approval, grace, and gratitude. Don't try to dull the poignancy of your insult by spreading it around.
Many boards that I have frequented in the past have divided powers of administration differently, and these groups have usually acted together (in such instances as opting to ban a member). First and foremost, as I just said, I'm not name-calling or issuing personal insults, I just think the decision to ban was "jerky". This is just one man's opinion, and the board has had the good grace to allow me to express it. Secondly, I didn't realize that my issue was with a decision made by you alone. If I disagree with one person, I'll let them know; it is, after all a discussion forum. So here it is: I disagree with the way this was handled. That said, I've done my part. Nobody's obligated to listen to me, or even continue to let me post, but that's my contribution. I apologize to the mods at large for lumping them into my disagreement with Porfiry.
And I totally agree with the fact that people who are only on a board to "disrupt the community" and sour the pot deserve to be banned. My disagreement was with the decision to rush to the judgement that Faghat was such a person, and to not give them a chance before showing them the door.
And those are my opinions. I'm not here to disrupt anything, (and I think everyone knows that, since they've been fairly civil in discussing this with me). I've said what I wanted to say, and if anybody wants to discuss further, I'm fine with that. But for the time being, I'm done eating up the bandwidth.

Are you suggesting that you didn't post the goefyfish remark?
I would suggest that you abide by Porfiry's decision. Further continuance will result in a total ban should you continue.
As much as the rest, I feel this thread has reached its end and has little redeeming value left.
Personally, I have to agree with the dicision to ban Faghet, he/she seemed to know what they were doing. Sort of like Organised Chaos.
I know some of my posts/threads aren't excellent, I do hope I have added a little something into the sciforums community and give people something to talk about be it good or bad (ie Sex With Thor thread )
You people should know that you shouldn't mess with the mods and the supreme warlord. I try my damnest not to get in their bad books.
