Training is of course a double-edged sword - it can both reveal and simultaneously force one to think along narrowly set parameters, specifically those parameters learned with respect to one's chosen vocation.
Where might we pigeon hole what we encounter? How do we categorize our experiences - executing that process, that automatic, nearly undetectable process that is continually being exercised by our subconscious mind - trying as it does to make sense out of each new encounter? Framing, referencing and the like, what it has never before experienced, trying as it does to assimilate each new experience as efficiently as possible, for the benefit of self.
Neither a follower of Freud or Jung, neither liberal nor conservative - my ideals are fluid. I continually exist on untenable ground with regard to my thought process. Even those things I have learned at the hands of my keepers, those so-called alien beings, I do not hold to be true or factual in the absolute, but rather, simply a convenient mechanism of sorts, for my use at this point in time – knowing as I do, that my next learned paradigm will soon be set in motion, carrying me further down the road in this ever-changing process, until that point that I will enter, confronting as it were, what is next for me to learn.
My parents were merely genetic material, which they in turn supplied for my creation - nothing more. Aliens raised, educated and trained me - my thought process being more akin to theirs than yours, I might imagine. I am a hybrid of sorts.

The choice of course is yours - and my intent shall be that I will enter any dialogue with you without any preconceived notions whatsoever. And of course, you shall have the same option as well.
Who knows, I may be surprised.
