Designed as a performance space for the biggest and most elaborate shows, it's 300ft/100m tall and closer to 500ft/150m wide. Designed to hold 18,000 people, it has giant computer driven LED screens on both its inner and outer surfaces. The largest and highest definition LED screens in the world. There are thousands of speakers inside and it can produce wind and scent. The goal is a totally immersive experience.
After a short but impressive test on Saturday July 1, it fired up for real on the Fourth of July.
"What Las Vegas really needs is a 300 foot eyeball!!"
