The Purpose of Life

To listen or to play? You have the "Wings over America" tour recorded in 76 I think. Some great stuff on there.
"Bluebird" is one of my favourites but "Maybe I'm amazed" is something else.
Different to the studio but I think he was wise not to force that line.

" Ever help me."
To play. I've been in bands for decades, played live too many times to remember.
One of the tunes I've done for years is the entire "Golden Slumbers" medley, always a huge hit.

Golden Slumbers is just beautiful. Piano part, pretty singing then full Macca. A man of 1000 voices, that's why he is my favourite vocalist.
Ian Gillian was freight train 1969-73 so together I switch for deset island scenario.

They're taking lessons, I'm just the uncle coaching from the sidelines. Luckily I've known Blackbird for decades. Sultans has sent me back to the tab while I have her work on the rhythm.
If they are anything like my son when I was teaching him guitar, he will want to know all the little runs.

Chords first son.
I want to know the interesting bits Dad!
