The Katy Perrys go to space!

What's wrong with that? Conserving precious things that are part of a culture?
Being a conservative does not mean you support the worst possible ethics and values.
It can be an ideology with some 1940s socialist initiatives thrown in.
I spent the last 30 years trying to support a viable Labour candidate in the UK.

Another thread I think. Having conservative learnings in the UK today, or some right wing views is not the same as MAGA today.
I lived in Earls Court and worked for the Underground, a temp position while I was travelling through England. I agree, conservatives in the UK are not anything like Maga morons.

You must have met a lot of Australians. Earl’s Court seems to be where they all pitch up, for some reason.

Met all kinds there, seems to be popular with traveling folks. Lived with ausies, kiwis, brits, etc. Had a great time.

So—

—tell us, again—

—about your "right wing" views.
Oh I missed this, you want me to tell YOU about my right wing views? Conservative views? Capitalist views?

Do you?

How about no? How about fuck off?

There are people who can and have took me on regarding certain views with sincerity, honesty, objectivity and with zero agenda.

Tha is probably because they are not platform ambulance chasers, naming and shaming as many supremacists, racists and fascists as they can.

I asked you a simple question,

Me. "why are you on this site?"

You. (Paraphrasing) "To contribute."

Right.

Carry on contributing, everyone feels the contribution.

How about no? How about fuck off?

Yeah, I didn't expect you were capable of answering.

So—

Carry on contributing, everyone feels the contribution.

—tell us about—

you stupid fucking cunt
you stupid fucking cunt
gashtronaughts mainly screeched like Banshees

—your contribution.

After all, your contribution to misogyny is right in line with—

I also consider myself to have some views that are "right wing."

—what you said about having "right wing" views.

Seriously, tough guy—

Careful how you answer.

—what are you going to do—

Have you had a machine gun stuck in your face?
Don't EVER speak to me like that again you fucking twat.

—threaten me?

Look, I'm not going to complain that you took three weeks to get around to this, but, maybe you might consider that you needed three weeks to get around to this.

Do you get the difference?

Or, maybe, just go back to calling people cunts, telling girls what to think↑, and generally making the point for me.

Let me spell it out for you: Really, if I had written your post↑ as a parody of how a right-winger thinks, some folks 'round here might be angry at me for being so extreme and mean and unfair to rightists.

So, yeah: What was that about a machine gun? You're right on target.

(Seriously, though, it remains a mystery why the post about the neo-Nazi telling Republicans they're overdoing the Nazi stuff↗ would upset you so badly↗. Nonetheless, your animosity in defense of calling women cunts and gashes is approximately as unpredictable as a school-drama anime, when the question isn't whether you do this or that bit, but how you do it. That is to say, your right wing views come through loud and clear.)

It's one thing if, as I suggested↑, this thread is laden with misogynistic undertones, but you went and made the point for me:

Tiassa↑: It stands out that so much opprobium is directed at the women, and not Jeff Bezos.

Pinball1970↑: Did you miss the "ass" in astronaut you stupid fucking cunt? Is this all you do?

Are you so thoroughly incapable of figuring out the basic point? Here, allow someone else↱ to explain it to you: "If I call a casual drinker an alcoholic they don't go binging just to 'show me.'"

So, then, there is this:

Tha is probably because they are not platform ambulance chasers, naming and shaming as many supremacists, racists and fascists as they can.

Slow down and think it through. As you've written it, the response is perfectly obvious: The supremacists, racists, and fascists should be shamed.

Now, then, did you simply fail to write a better sentence, or did you just spill it all out for everyone to see? That is, are you about to argue for why supremacists, racists, and fascists shouldn't be called out, or did you let your emotions get ahead of you? And, sure, of course it can be both.

Look, typos and E&O are not absent from my posts, and some of them even have potential Freudian implications, and it's also true that most of that happens when I'm trying to work too quickly. And, sometimes, it's an easy enough explanation.

It's just, the difference here is one of those things where, sure, I get that you're pissed off because I hit your statement about having some right-wing views, but, as such, ¿Could you please not keep making the point for me?

And, yeah, sure, the supremacists, racists, and fascists should be shamed.

Here is what a real female astronaut looks like. Girls, ladies if you want to be inspired, here is one for you.
Let me tell you about a few I know.

First is Mary Ellen Weber. I know her and her husband from skydiving. She and Cady Coleman (see below) went through training together; Mary Ellen was one of the astronauts who assembled the first parts of the ISS and got it working. She flew twice on the STS, and served in NASA in other roles for ten years before going into consulting.

Cady Coleman lived in my dorm in college, and flew in two missions on the STS. She also spent six months on the ISS and launched the Chandra X-Ray Observatory. Her and Mary Ellen went through training together. There's a lot of stories about that training that I won't repeat here - but they had a lot of fun.
