If I walked into the women's bathroom, lifted the seat, went pee, and washed my hands before leaving, people would take notice. If put on a dress and tried the same, people would take notice. I might even get my ass kicked by the women in the bathroom, or the men responding to the screams. Again, I am doubtful that women, in general, are in favor of unisex bathrooms. And yes, they do take notice and they do complain.

If you were dressed and made up as a woman, its doubtful you'd even be noticed. Most people in restrooms aren't exactly in a socializing mood. By the time you peed in a stall, and washed your hands, may 3 minutes?, noone could get there in time to arrest you. It's an unenforceable law.

I think it would depend on those around the facility and their sense of chivalry. Regardless, simply saying that it's unenforceable completely disregards the rights of women and their privacy while in a vulnerable position.

There's nothing more private than being in a stall with the door closed and latched. So don't even bring up that issue. If there were really a fear of being leered at in a public restroom, why haven't lesbians been banned from women's restrooms? Simple. Because that's not what it's about. It's the enforcement of a ideological position on what people's true gender is. And one not accepted by most in the medical field.

If this law is allowed, what I think should happen is a large group of men should all pretend to be women for the day; transgender du jour. There is no rule that says this can't happen with transsexuality. This allows the men/women du jour, to hang around and inside all the women's bathrooms, at large public events, like ball games.

The females will not want to use the restrooms with that many men/women du jour hanging around and talking. Many women will find the need to leave the event and go home so they can relieve themselves. They may not want to come back to the ball park if this is going to happen again and again. This will create economic hardship. Sexuality, according to liberalism is fickle, so anything can go.

Once you apply pressure to the ladies, they will apply pressure to the businesses and the legislature. Why not divide split the democratic base, by pitting females and those who want to use any restroom.

Depends on what their brain identifies with. Gender is a result of brain function, not of genital morphology.

You are still Bowser, because your brain identifies you as such. Modifying your clothes doesn't change anything. Modifying your body wouldn't either. It's all about the brain.

But what if I really believed I was Abraham Lincoln? Would that make it any more so? What about transpecies? If a person believes they are a cat, does that make it so? It's an endless game that has no limits.
