Yugoslavia had a unique advantage as not being a part of the Soviet sphere of influence nor the Western sphere , so its economy prospered under its socialist economy Being a successful socialist economy was seen as a threat by the IMF , because as the freemarket reforms bit into Eastern Europe , the citizens of those nations would be inspired by Yugoslavia to revert to socialism so a plan was developed .In 1989 Yugoslavia approached the IMF for a loan , the IMF demanded certain conditions before approval of the loan , namely the implementation of market reforms then engulfing the former communist nations of Eastern Europe . And so a program of economic austerity was implemented on the economy , and needless to say the people of that nation rejected these reforms in a mass strike consisting of 750,000 people the plan collapse . So a plan was implemented to break up Yugoslavia , Germany declared it recognized Croatian and Slovenian independence , even though these 2 republics had not even declared independence , but it was a signal to quasi-facist elements within those 2 republics , which have close relations with Germany , to break away , so in June of 1991 those 2 republics declared their independence . That was a clear signal for everyone to fight for their lives and carve up Bosnia which lasted until November 1995 . The final assault on socialist Serbia under Milosevic , came in April 1999 , falsely inventing a human tragedy in Kosovo , NATO on behalf of the IMF attacked Serbia , destroying its infrastructure , each night on TV we saw thousands of refugees crossing the border supposedly to escape genocidal Serbian soldiers , in fact they were escaping NATO bombing , which was deliberately bombing civilian areas to spur on the tide of refugees to head for the waiting Western media in this propaganda spectacle . Finally in June Serbia gave in and accepted the IMF program which the current Govt is implementing for Western masters .

You know I usually don't feel like devoting the time or energy to bother responding to your bullshit, but this little piece of misinformation strikes a personal cord. In 1993-94 I worked at a red cross refugee center for children here in Norway. The majority of kids we cared for were Kosovo Albanians who were sent away by family friends and relatives. There were the occasional tear filled talks and children waking screaming haunted by nightmares of what had happened to them back in Kosovo. we tried to reassure them and calm them but trying to soothe children alone in a foreign land is not an easy task. Notice the dates I mentioned, long before your falsely invented human tragedy. How clever of NATO to enlist serbs to do the dirty work of turning world opinion against themselves long before the secret conspiracy even was ready to be put in motion.

Looks like all you have there are a bunch of dead links and balkanpeace.org. This may come as a shock to you brian but propaganda works both ways, you are no more valid or better than the neo cons you are just on the other side of the spectrum. personally I think what happened in Serbia went both ways the muslims presecuted serbs and those persecuted them in turn. In the end clinton was the linchpin in getting nato together to try to show that he is friendly with the arab world. personally I think what you wrote about the IMF is a bunch of crock but the west really looked at it only from the suffering of the albanian / croat side. Serbs suffered harshly as well it was a brutal CIVIL WAR and all sides commited attrocities its just the west covered the "victums" better.
