Hypothesis: With a ban on sciforums, I would either create a sockpuppet or direct my energies elsewhere while on the internet. I found the latter to be true, While it did not totally stop procrastination as there are endless opportunities for distraction, I deleted the address of another forum I'm in (since they wouldn't ban me).. On the internet, Youtube was still a distraction, but, I'm directed less and less to it.. Don't know why.. I guess it does help.Sometimes.
Who uses Youtube? So, you banned yourself (in hopes?) that you would "direct your energies elsewhere while on the internet" ? Is there something you are supposed to be doing elsewhere on the internet? If not, and these forums are what you have found you like best, then that was quite stupid. In my opinion, of course. What helps? Banning yourself? What does it help you to do?
Of, John Milton's Paradise Lost Did I request thee, Maker, from my clay To mould me Man, did I solicit thee From darkness to promote me? In conjunction with Romanticism of course.
I see. I didn't mean to sound rude, but after a second reading I see that I probably did. Yes, studying on the internet can be fairly distracting, especially if you're ahead of your deadline. I always just procrastinated until it was absolutely necessary to begin. Try it, and play around during the meantime.
