It's ignorant to presume someone in present day a Civil War Confederate just because it's part of their regional, family history. I don't see you calling present day Germans, the German Reich, even though their flag was adopted then. Why the disparity, other than bias or ignorance?Ironic to have a Confederate wearing a T-shirt with a slogan that says "America - Love it or Leave it" since Confederates literally wanted to leave America.

Wow, that's outright racist. Presuming that a black person couldn't possible think differently than other black people is presuming them inferior. You're disgusting!
I don't have to call you anything. You're demonstrating it all on your own.Call me ignorant then... there seems a little out there that helps such a presumption as far as some folk..what happens in Germany is not really relevant.

Not my joke. This is a meme that precedes this forum thread. It's ignorant to presume someone in present day a Civil War Confederate just because it's part of their regional, family history. I don't see you calling present day Germans, the German Reich, even though their flag was adopted then. Why the disparity, other than bias or ignorance?
Not a Confederate, a southerner. Because they can grow up in the south and have southern pride, just like anyone else. They are humans, you know. Why would a black person be a Confederate? Tha fuck.
So it's easier for you believe that it is a photoshopped hoax than a black person being able to think for themselves? That's literally racist. You don't think it's photoshopped? You think a black guy is for the group that enslaved his ancestors?
Wow, so even if you deign to accept a black person can think for themselves, they must be inferior in intellect for doing so?Hey! Isn't that the same guy who waved the poster "Guverment hands off my medicare!!" ?
BTW - Who says stupidity is the exclusive domain of white people?
No, that kind of vile ignorance only comes from genuine racists. If you're that unaware of what constitutes racism, maybe you need to seriously examine your underlying motives.Sorry if you find it so ... can someone who is not racist make a racist statement?
Oh, I'm sure your racism is unthinking, but that precisely what that kind of vile comment alludes to. That a black person would have to be a slave to express anything different from most black people.Who is presuming that..not me..is that the way you see it..you are funny...like your avatar...I can no longer think it is angry nor can I take you seriously..and that is a pity as I was going to let you win a few rounds to help build your apparent lack of self esteem and confidence.
No, it's not. It's my gut reaction to your racism. And you have the callous gall to joke about it. What's wrong with you?!Is that one of those addhoms that I can take as a compliment? Thanks.
Trying to distract from your racism ain't going to work. You might get away with it around leftists, but those who like the party that ended slavery and gave us the Civil Rights Act won't put up with your casual racism. You don't but you do..you can't help yourself, your arguments are full of the logical fallacies and you try to point them out in the arguement of others yet you are ignorant of the ones you make...and that is being kind as others would call you dishonest...me I just do think you are not actually aware...Anyways let's not let anything stand in the way of our friendship...I know you don't mean to be nasty ..I blame Satan.
Not from the south, and not traitors because, again, the Confederate flag doesn't mean that in the south.Do you think these folk from the South and their flag thing should be seen as traitors to the country? The South seems an odd place ..maybe it's just bad press but there seem to be some very fundamental Christians there that believe the bible literally..that Adam and Eve were real, that the flood happened.I bet they even believe that whale story...what is your view..are you from the South?

The Confederate flag is not a symbol of the Confederacy in the south. It's a symbol of southern pride and heritage. You don't think black people can be proud of their regional heritage? What's wrong with you?
Projection, huh? Heed your own advise. If it really doesn't mean pride or heritage to a southern black person, explain why he's carrying it. Do some of that clear thinking. What about all these black people: https://www.google.com/search?q=black+man+with+confederate+flag&tbm=ischI'm from the South. It doesn't mean "pride" in the South to a black person. What around the Southern history would make a black person "proud"?
It has nothing to do with a black person thinking for themselves. You are the one who isn't thinking very clearly.
I do doubt Southern whites knowledge when they disagree about that flag and you have to really look to find a Southern black like that. I think even you know that.Projection, huh? Just because you cannot fathom a black person accepting what the Confederate flag has come to stand for in the south, doesn't mean they can't or don't. That's an argument from incredulity, at best. Again, that would presume them inferior to the southern whites who you don't doubt for one second when they disagree with others about that flag. That's your own racist assumptions staring back at you.
I didn't say their knowledge, I said you don't doubt the fact that they disagree with you. But you're first reaction to a black person doing the exact same thing is to doubt that it's even true at all. That double standard, that just presumes that sort of freedom in whites is, what, more acceptable, plausible, credible than in blacks. When's the last time you thought a photo of a white guy with a Confederate flag was photoshopped? You trying to backpedal that it's rare is just your attempt to cover your own racism.I do doubt Southern whites knowledge when they disagree about that flag and you have to really look to find a Southern black like that. Your argument is ridiculous. That's like saying that when I see a white guy who is a member of the KKK I believe it but when I see a black guy in a KKK robe if I question it, I'm racist. That's stupid.I didn't say their knowledge, I said you don't doubt the fact that they disagree with you. I see a picture like that, and I don't doubt it for even an instant. Because I know for a fact that black people can have just as diverse of opinions on any subject at all as whites do. That's what all decent humans presume. And it's better to be occasionally mistaken than to be a racist.
