Subscribe to Thread with Email Notification, by Default

I'm familiar with vBulletin program through other forums and like it very much, and know that the option for "subscribing", as when we post, can be set for "instant email notification" by default -- nearly all of the forums using vBulleting have it set this way. The default for SciForums seems to be "no email notification". I'd like to change this for my account, though I cannot find that option in my "User CP". Any suggestions?

The option you are looking for is in your "User CP" panel.

Firstly check for the Settings & Options: "Edit Options".
Once on that page look for the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" entry with a "Dropdown box", the box you can then use to alter your selection for how Subscribed threads are adhered to.
