Star Trek - did you know?

Yes, when you mention the Titan and how it was a test bed for the sinking of the Titanic, it reminds me of the book written in the 90's (?) that I can't recall at this exact moment which tells of airliners crashing into the WTC and the plot is basically the same as what happened on 9/11. Oli mentioned books and well, the Titan and this one are two of em that tells of future plans!

The books are fiction - you can take all fiction books as fiction or treat them ALL as predictive. Otherwise you're just someone picking through, after a selected event and choosing only the "data" that supports your hypothesis and ignoring the rest.
Or do you suggest that Tom Clancy (for one) is predicting the future? Michael Moorcock is history? Conan the Barbarian actually lived?
 
Saying a book is fiction is just an excuse to get away with the deeds mentioned in the book.

And please show me where the events in Conan have happened. Unlike the 9/11 and Titan books, those did happen! As detectives say, "in our line of work, there's no such thing as coincidences."

But you can only say that a book published as fiction is predictive AFTER an event that you choose to relate it to. In which case all you're doing is assigning the meanings you want to see. There's millions of fiction books out there, some of them at some point have to have some correlation with reality, but the only reason that correlation is there is because those books are written about people living in our world, and people are capable of just about any act.

If people stopped reading these books, their thought waves and visualisations would NOT be able to pervert the course of history by manifesting their daydreams!

Well duh, I'm not a psychic that can predict the future unlike the CIA in Project Star Gate (another star, coincidence? I think not) or those waiting years before making an event happen like the government who sits on technology for 50 years before releasing it to the public.

As we've said in the beginning of this thread, events have already happened, we just won't know about it till years later. This is why those events in books are finally noticed once the events do happen in the public's eye. It's a dead giveaway to see who are agents of the government in this whole charade.

I wonder what terrible events peoples have planned for the 6/6/06. Anyone been thinking of that. I wonder if the world will be on higher alert on that day?

I would have thought that was more related to the harness, get him a 'longer' one and he'll 'pull' just fine.

I smell a government agent trying to give us clues as to something happening that day.

Good thing you've said it now and didn't write a book and say it's fiction otherwise we'd have some people here not believe it and we'd just be connecting the dots afterwards rather than before it happening. :rolleyes:

So WTC happened before the public saw it? And someone accidentally witnessed it, wrote a book and THEN sometime later, the rest of the world noticed?
Or the Titanic sank, someone (one person only, mind) knew, wrote the book and after the book was published the rest of the world found out?

Just for your information - the vast majority of US classified programmes are named by a computer prgramme that throws up a random collection of words. It is done this way because a human thinking of a codename would subliminally attach a name that had some relationship to the programme's actual purpose.
The name of a programme has nothing to do with the purpose, aims or methods of the project.
And I know of one case where the random choice came uncomfortably close to the purpose and was scrapped (although not a US programme in this case).
