I have experimented by engaging the CONVENIENT TROLLS you have been proven to favor as a means to frame and sbotage and finally 'excuse' your prejudicial bans against the victims and letting the trolls to get away scott free or just a slap on the wirst for show. It's been obvious, Trippy, to all except insensible trolls and their exploiting mods.

Remember when you even admitted (in one of dmoe's thread IIRC) that you 'engage your targets in conversation and string them along so you could eventually have an excuse to ban them?

You even intervened in that thread without any due cause and intimidated the posters concerned by that very intervention! And when I called you out on it, you 'flagged me' and intimidated me! Even when I PM'd you as recommended by admin, in order to reasonable discuss and have you reconsider the facts, you just DENIED any wrongdoing on your part and just 'blew me off' arrogantly in the confidence of you having the power and 'mod mates' in your prejudicial version 'pockets, so that no matter where I went from there, I, the one who called YOU out for abusing the mod power/system like that, was behind the eight-ball and couldn't get anyone to TAKE YOU TO TASK because no-one in your 'mod pockets' was prepared to DOUBT YOUR WORD and actually look into the matter properly and discuss the matter/evidence with ME. In truth it should have been the first post in the exchange, or the last. I think I simply got my windows mixed up and some point and thought I was infringing the correct post - but really, that's neither here nor there.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear:

About who did what to whom in some other subforum, or some other thread - obviously there are some exceptions to this, for example, if I am explaining to you for the eighth time how to respond to trolls I'm probably going to take that into consideration. I'm not interested in hearing "But mommy, he started it" as an excuse for bad behaviour.
What I am interested in is your (generic plural) personal conduct in the specific thread I am dealing with and how many red flags you have accumulated on your profile. Those are what govern my decisions, nothing more.

As a moderator, I expect posters to treat each other as they wish to be treated.
I would prefer discussions remained rational and calm, however, I expect that occasionally emotions will rise and heated exchanges will occur. Consequently, I expect that posters are wearing their 'grown up' pants because there is a degree of emotional maturity required on this forum, indeed, in online interactions in general. I generally prefer to avoid using the ban-hammer if I can, however, if an individual continues to escalate a situation, I will not hesitate.

The problem is not that there is lax moderation in the Physics/Maths section lately; it's that when YOU DO INTERVENE, it's obviously out of PERSONAL BIAS and PREJUDICIAL 'version' of 'excuses' for doing so, which have no regard for all the facts in the context. You immediately CHOOSE to sanction the VICTIM who has engaged the TROLLS who have been let loose to sabotage and bury discussions in their troll crap, while you and your troll mates accuse others of doing it? Has it not occurred to your simple mind that IF the trolls disn't bait and repeat silly challenges and other 'tactics; of evasion, which then FORCE in self defense the victim to repeat his comments and so be brnded as 'spamming' thereby, then there would not need to be such repetitious exchanges on EOTHER 'side' of the discussion. First get rid of the trolls baiting and creating/repeating the 'framing' challenges and personal accusations etc etc, then one can more readily see and act against any other poster who is still repeating without cause. Undefined, my issuing that infraction and ban had nothing to do with previous actions or the advice or prejudice of another moderator or anything of the sort... the reason for it was written plain as day. It had naught to do with the past or any perceived injustice... it was purely because you were lashing out against anyone and everyone around you. Like I said before - even when you have a point, if you make that point like a madman, nobody is going to take you seriously.

Principle is great. Fighting injustice and wrongdoing is a noble cause. Just remember; the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

The simple fact is this: If you were "marked" for banning... it would have been done long ago... as it stands, we (the moderation staff) don't have to provide much of a reason to justify a permanent ban, especially not when a member has so many infractions issued for the exact same pattern of misbehavior. Hell, if I were so inclined, i could probably permanently ban you now and few would bat an eye, and I doubt anyone would request a serious inquiry as to why. Part of this is because the Supermods are somewhat overwhelmed with babysitting the otherwise untended forums (where moderators have either gone AWOL or left entirely) and the Admins, in my observation, prefer to leave things to run without their intervention when and if possible.

If you believe ANYTHING I say, believe this - you are not "marked for banning" or anything of the sort. Yes, you are a very apparent member; you are strong in your convictions and you will pursue them to the ends of the earth. I can respect that; I'm the same way. However, you have to learn when and how to pick and choose your battles.

Why make it your trolling points to frame it as if evading? And Grumpy was already presented with mainstream matter from Einstein, Penrose, even Sean Carroll (in Grumpy's own link!) where 'time' is clearly a derived/abstract concept/analytical tool and part of a UNreal analytical maths/geometry construct called 'space-time'. That has already been provided in the relevant threads, but Grumpy et all deny the facts therein from Einstein et al, and still maintain that their own 'personal beliefs' and 'philosophical conceptual' sense of 'time' is more than it is in fact 'physically'...a derived/abstraction tool for comparative analysis construct, as Einstein and other mainstreamers have made clear. Grumpy et al denying that now puts the onus on them to make their case AGANST the mainstream case/facts presented for their reference and understanding in real physical energy-space (not Unreal 'space-time' abstract maths) terms, and certainly not in their repeated belief/philosophy terms.

Can't face that you have been shown as less than a wholesome character, by apologizing for abusers and blaming the victims like you have been doing and is made clear again above? You obviously missed the pertinent fact that it WAS DONE LONG AGO. I was RealityCheck, and it was PROVEN I was banned unjustly due to the very same mod-troll collusion for targeting and banning, by sabotage, personalizing and general trolling-to-order so the colluding MOD could have an excuse for banning 'history' frame-up leading to permaban 'justification' by that same 'crooked mod' version/history framed towards that end.

And you using that lame and long since discredited 'angle' that the 'victim paints a target on himself' is a WRONGHEADED evasion of the targeting that went on REGARDLESS of what the target did or did not do. He was damn if he did and damned if he didn't, because he was the TARGET of that PROVEN gang. That prior proven banning instance is past now; and I would not like to bring up the names involved again, because they are no longer active here. Just allow me to say... you are trying to compare someone being "treated unfairly" on an internet forum to children being molested in the catholic church...

Those 'people' you so eagerly 'approve' have proven you wrong. They trolled when they were losing a debate. They used an 'accomodating mod' to intimidate and censor proactively with threats, and when that fails they frame the victim for banning. All proven in open forum by experiment. So you have no more 'dodges' and 'rationalizations' at your disposal to deny the nasty facts that proves they are egotistical and trollish saboteurs of open and fair science discourse.

They are worse than any 'crank', since they pretend to be defending mainstream even when they are bringing mainstream into disrepute by their 'example' here and elsewhere which have been proven against them and their distasteful tactics.

Shame on anyone still pretending they have been anything but egomaniacal ganglike destructive influence on the sites.
