What is the song that goes Der Der Da Der Der Der Daa Daa

Or something like that, they are not words, they are the music. I don't think there are actually any sung words. Also, it is played on something that sounds more like a party blower than any real instrument.

Any ideas?

Its also not a song that would be released into the charts. Its very annoying and seems more of a piss-take than a song. Its probably been used in adverts and that kind of thing for comedy effect. It also VERY famous, I would think anyone would know of it, if they heard it. But I would think very few people would know the name.

Cheers for the tries but none of them are even close.

All of those are songs this isn't really even a song and it probably older than all of them put together.

There are also no words at all.

My girlfriend can sing it, if I put it up will people listen to it and see if they can answer?

You must be joking. Do you really think we have any idea what you're talking about?

If you like music you probably dimly remember how to write notes on a score from that music class you had in the third grade. Even if it's a slow and painful process, making us try to guess what you mean will be much slower and more painful, for more people.

Please do us the courtesy!

I don't know how to write music and the description is the best I can do. I'm going to upload the g/f singing it.

I also think this noise/tune is played at football (uk) matches. Maybe using an Air Horn, or something like it.

Well done phlog on Rick rolling us. :bugeye:

Rats, gmilam, Mahna Mahna was my first choice. ;)

There's a method of identifying tunes by the simply relative pitch (higher/lower/same as previous note) of the beginning notes, but I'm not finding it on the Internet. For example, the Star Spangled Banner begins down, down, up, up, up. The famous first notes of Beethoven's Fifth are same, same, down, up, same same, down. I think this is one way they screen for plagiarism/copyright infringement.

And there's also this and this.

Google song identifier, and you'll find lots of stuff, mostly downloads.
