after having a quick read of a different web site
this does not surprise me
with soo many different groups trying to get back doors into every home computer in the world for marketing and nosing around
now there is this
something that almost looks designed to do so.
considering global rise in computer capacity ... such things are a ticking time bomb for those hell bent on causing chaos.
it tends to mock open source given the vulnerability will be inside all those computers now forced to run software and hardware that must be used to run modern CPU & ram hungry share-ware-yourundies for the marketing companies.
& people thought RPC was going to be an issue lol
this seems to be a considerable over sight.

hopefully no nefarious groups will get hold of it before a fix is found

it would be quite expensive to have to change all chips or chip software.

Indeed and indeed. We assume the likes of Microsoft/Apple/Google/Various Linux iterations - will automatically apply or at least offer effective software patches ASAP. If I'm first to come across a reputable download site ahead of that it will be linked to here.

the common protection is super power & smaller groups desire to not wipe out the global financial system
though any group sufficiently motivated enough to cause collapse would be happy to roll that dice as many times as they could
unfortunately profit leaned capitalistic outsourcing ends up in cost cutting that directly undermines security and long term survivability

it is a little ironic watching the lilliputians argue over which end of the egg to cut open by moving job cost wages into new risk departments to try and cover losses and poor management which were cost cutting by massive short staffing policy
the irony in no fair open market which would have cost them huge market shares is not lost also.

and no one supposedly knew

camera live
microphone live
