How many anarchists does it take for the world to stop saying anarchy is chaos? Apperently more than one.
I have to admit I only read into about half way of page 3 and am too damn stoned to continue staring at the words on the screen so I decided to post a general response. NUMBER ONE: I would like to clear up some peoples mistaken idea of anarchists believe that "anarchy" means. First off, we are not a group of only young white american males who are pissed off at their parents. The vast majority of the revolutionaries shown in America are, however, which (because of our lovely media) has created this stero-type. Secondly, do you guys really think theres a group stupid enough to literally want CHAOS and that for a political ideology that has been around for thousands of years dont you guys think that at least a little thought was put into it? Believe it or not, we have a legitimate plan and idea for how the world and human kind works together. Nothing we propose is all that radical, and if you listen to our arguments, they may actually begin to piece together and make sense. But this thread isnt about anarchy, so to continue. NUMBER TWO: I see many people on here have brought up the ol' red scare right wing bullshit of either "i dont want to be taken care of, everyones looking for a handout from the government, or something about communism and its evil authoritarian plot to take over the world." Well, that last one is more of the tea parties mission statements. Firstly, IM A FUCKING ANARCHIST. Do you really think I<---- thats right me, 16 year old know it all dumbfuck uneducated inexperienced anarchist revolutionary that is opposed to ALL STATE interaction or existence REALLY WANTS THE GOVERNMENT TO OWN ANYTHING? Cmon, have some common sense. Infact communism calls for a "stateless and classless society" so lets do a little thinking here. Fascism has been apparent in many "communist" countries, but the evils here are the exact thing that I am against, statism, fascism, nationalism. Where else can you find these three evils? In American capitalism. So obviously ANY economic system can be fucked up if the government has the power to fuck it up. The problem isnt communism, its government. Why? Because government will ALWAYS take any chance it can to take advantage of the human element in economics to gain them wealth and power. Both capitalists and communists in a fascist nation do this. However, pure, democratic communism in no way shape or form calls for any type of centralized or authoritarian state. I don't believe I said people had to suffer so others could be successful. In fact, given that I live in the UK with social care, unemployment benefit, and free healthcare, I kinda think that capitalism and socialism work well together, and nobody need suffer from the conditions you describe so others can prosper.
But because some people need aid, does that negate that wealth is a mark of success? What would the poor do, if wealth were not redistributed to them? Don't fall into the trap thinking they'd have a bigger slice of the pie, 'cos without entrepreneurs the pie would never get made in the first place.
Listen kid,... if there were anarchy, there'd be nothing to stop people doing as they please. You would get ass raped by someone and all your possessions stolen in a blink of an eye.

Simple answer? Education and slow change. Anarchy doesnt (well, shouldnt) happen over night. It must be a collective choice. Now, this thread is about Socialism as a better system opposed to Capitalism. This thread is NOT about anarchism, so please either start a thread, pm me, or drop the subject.
Who is, under the current system, going to start teaching people differently?
Also, you don't seem to grasp that socialism and capitalism are NOT exclusive.
I live in the UK. We have a free market economy, and social programmes. Someone needs to make the wealth you want to redistribute. That capitalists. It is redistributed using socialist methodologies. The latter has nothing to spend without the former. You need to grasp that before you espouse any political dictum.
