I'm aware of the situation. And as with the other thread, I'm watching to see how things evolve. If certain things occur, certain actions will be taken.
The fact that a member seems to have contradicted herself isn't mine to worry about at this time. And, given the more legitimate issues there are to worry about—the extraneity of the posts (notice that there is more than one I have my eye on), the nature of the speculation involved, &c.—it seems a curious proposition that we should focus on simple inconsistency.
Then again, if that's what's important to you, worry about it all you want.

So even though this member let us get dragged through the coals by the Mods (YOU TIASSA ESP) and even expected us to apoligize to them for making assumptions. She now turns around and does the EXACT thing to another member. Especially after trying to sound so high and mighty saying that she never assumes or judges ppl like us lowlifes do. But you don't feel the need to say anything about that at all huh.....Then you wonder why ppl here are complaining about Favourtism, or Mods being Bias. This is a PERFECT example.
Shit you sure would have pointed out for everyone to see in GREEN if I contradicted myself. Why don't you feel the need to do that now, considering all the FUSS that was just

shorty if your talking about LA's thread there was good reason for making that assumption and acting as i did. If i HAD told her what i thought she wanted i could have been charged with computer crime. Since then she has PM'ed me and i her giving her what she DID want (a way to protect herself)

Orleander in the Divorce thread. We were grilled for pages over it. Orleander basically said we should all be ashamed of ourselves
after of course she got the backing from a couple of Mods. Then she took the high and mighty road and said..........
Now she is making assumptions about another member here in another thread. But the mods don't feel the need to say anything about that
because she is one of their buddies you see. I am sure that that member doesn't appreciate have things being assumed about them like that either.
This is the reason ppl get so pissed around here. If you are going to call out certain members for behaviour or contradictions whatever CALL THEM ALL OUT!
Don't just pick and choose who you like or dislike.

Np I have never had a problem with you. There are mods here that seem pretty fair about stuff. I remember getting infractions from some of them.
I thought some were deserved and some not. James R gave me quite a few at one time, but he also listened when I had a complaint and seemed fair.
SuperString and Spidergoat have been helpful as well. Some of the others I haven't had many dealings with. But some MODS here as the other members have said, are really bias towards certain members and it is VERY Obvious.
I think that is all members would like to see. That everyone has the same set of rules. There are no favourites.

People contradict themselves all the time around here. Sometimes it is pertinent to a particular discussion. Sometimes it isn't. Congratulations. You've caught a member contradicting herself.
What strikes me as odd, though, is that, compared to this issue which reflects your running, petty dispute with said member, the fact that I have my eye on more substantive issues about the post in question is unsatisfactory to you. It seems that you're demanding action based on the pettiest possible aspect of the issue.
Why? Stop and think about it for a moment. Oh, right, you're not actually concerned with real aspects of potential offense. You just want to score some points for yourself in a childish dispute.
Just ... think about it. Is there anything about the post that might be more important than the appearance of contradiction?
(The answer is Yes. And the next question is What other issues might be more important than whether Shorty feels like she score a zinger?)

Yeah I stopped and thought about it. You have insulted me, called me out made a whole thread about me, because you didn't like how I questioned a member. You grilled other members for making assumptions about a member here. You wrote pages......This is not for me to score points it is to POINT out how you love to call out certain ppl call them Liars or that they are full of bullshit. Here is a perfect example of someone who is totally full of BS even contradicting but you won't say a thing about it....Actually no mods except for Invert once has ever commented on this members questionable behaviour on these boards. Instead they turn it back around and make it someone elses fault never leaving this member accountable for anything.
Now when this member you so defended does the same thing to another member here you look the other way. You don't even have time to write one comment about it huh. I think that says more about how you moderate then i could say........That's right who gives a shit about the person she is making assumptions about........not a buddy of yours so who gives a crap.

No, I'm not suggesting moderators be apolitical, but demagogue is hardly a flattering term. More specifically, one can be political without intentionally stirring up shit to puff up their own pathetic egos or create a situation for selfish, bizarre and cathartic rants.
You also ignored the latter part of my statement, where I talk about personal attacks. Members ought to be able to report moderators for personal attacks and expect a positive response. Unless, of course, you agree with Tiassa, in that you think it's OK for a moderator to attack someone if the moderator deems they deserve it?

I don't wish to make this personal, so I have avoided using names or linking to specific examples, but there is at least one moderator who can absolutely destroy threads with numerous — and quickly posted — one or two-line posts, many of which are little more than cannards that have little or nothing to do with the thread topic. This is trolling, in my book, and if a member did it, as some do, it would be stopped — or at the very least curtailed. The fact this doesn't happen is why I want to be able to put moderators on ignore.
It is a waste of my time to come here, post something that I think is thoughtful and well-researched only to have a complete fool of a human being fire back with some inane riposte that is designed specifically to "start something" and turn the thread into a wrestling match. Whether this is the fool's intent or not, I don't know, but the results are what they are, and I've seen dozens of good threads derailed by what can only be described as this mod's antics...

As you are well aware shorty, my comments in that thread had more to do with the manner in which you and others attempted to denigrate another member, asking, no, demanding, she tell all and sundry why she had decided to wait before having sex. You completely ignored her comments earlier on in the thread where she stated her reasons quite plainly for all to see. But that was not enough. When she advised you of her reasons for having ended the relationship, a reason which most people would have gotten from what she had said earlier on in the thread, you again pestered her about why she waited and how she could not have known.. Explanations were given several times, but you chose to ignore all, concentrating only on the object of your hatred and you further attempted to insult her. You not only demanded answers, you denigrated and insulted her for something that was not her fault. You abused her because something terrible happened to her. Now don't get me wrong, people make stupid mistakes. We all do at some point or another. But few expect to be abused and insulted by others because of it, especially when it comes to something so personal and emotionally painful. What you did to her would be akin to laughing at someone and denigrating them if they admitted they had been raped. And knowing what had happened to her, the comparison is not that far off.
That's the thing shorty, you didn't just judge her in that thread. You saw it as an opportunity to insult her and you took it with all claws out. It was quite obvious. Is it one oneupmanship? Popularity contest? Need for attention? The two of you had been taking little jabs at each other all over these forums. You saw your opportunity and you took it. And it backfired for you this time, just like it has backfired for her in the past as well. You know the saying, you reap what you sow? Run with it.
