Shall we ban prostitution?

she cannot make love with him

does she need to buy a book and learn how ?
who teaches her ?

why cant her husband teach her how to "make love"
who teaches her husband ?

is it like making a cake ?
what does her husband need to buy her from the love shop ?

Sex workers live a sex life , but little Love .
have you been told that by many different professional sex workers ?
what about male sex workers ?
what d they say about "love life" ?

Shall we ban prostitution?
Do you think sex workers are immoral.
Enacting laws to ban their activities, is it a wise way to make the society free of sexual immorality?

As for whether or not they are immoral, it depends on which one of them. Some would be less moral than others. I presume that you mean: Do you think that sex workers are immoral just for prostitution? They're not, though many people may disagree with me there. Also, I am a libertarian, so I disagree with anything victimless being criminalized. Also also, I would argue that it is less wise to criminalize prostitution than to not do so because it means that ugly people don't get any, and it might also increase the number of people who get raped, per interval, on average. It might also mean that people with no talents, or very few talents, don't have any way of making money. Prostitution may be their only viable option to get by, financially.

I don't think there's any evidence that either one of those things would happen. Keep in mind that rape isn't about sex for 99% of rapists.

The things there ARE evidence for are, I think, reason enough:

- reduction in disease in legal vs illegal prostitution
- reduction in abuse in legal vs illegal prostitution

These have both been seen in places in the US where prostitution is legal.

The two caveats I would have with legal prostitution is that they must always be free to leave, and their health must be monitored and protected (since their health is now a public health issue.)

Okay. I don't know much about it. I just tend to make random guesses about things.

What is it about for 99% of rapists then?
