Suppose as depicted in H.G. Wells novel...the man gets into the time machine and traverses into the time travel world. Then he goes to a place the modern day where there is a electronic library where many a knowledge base is stored.
Then if there is devise a time machine, and if we traverse into the future. And we again went back in time instead thinking as going to the future. In some time world back in 1680s. There we find a modern world sunlight, intelligent people race and mannerisms. There is also a big library a very bad smell coming out of it. Huge assets of things place collectibles of vast experiences of very old scientists in particular fields work like biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics.....
So the things species, theories, working models were preserved....like library???

Oh now i understood from there all the others wrote it and summarised it into little books....

Would you like Ranch, Blue Cheese or Thousand Island on that?

no the library meaning all crooked theories jumbled into one...like physics hypothesis, diagrams, lost developments of lost scientists, chemists formulaes, combinations, fake experiments thesis, dinosaurs banned carricatures, weird banned species diaphragm in shelves jars, lost fauna caricatures, genome collections, plants extracts plucked into filesets..... and finally big experiments, leonardo da vinci's banned experiments helicopters, gold vending machines, banned occult science passages description of earth's map....
H.G. Wells gives the hint...what this modern world there is nothing to see?
And there is time machine as well...

You forgot to make sense again.

By now, I can only conclude that you're doing it on purpose.

There might have been unknown world wars in 1790s so this world got hidden forgotten somewhere, otherwise there could had been many new things to see learn. They just burnt the books in 1940s....

And apparently wiped the brains of everyone who ever read those books. And papers, manuscripts, plays, sketches, woodcarvings, paintings ... Then wiped out the physical evidence of great battles, killed all the horses and buried them too deep to find, melted down the guns or swords, altered the economic records of every country involved so that a war (that would have sapped the lion's share of each country's wealth) appeared, instead, to be a thriving, growing economy based on commerce, changed the birth and death records of most of the world, writing off all the dead soldiers that wouldn't have had children, and magically re-invigorating the population...

You should make yourself aware of something called a preponderance of evidence.
