Part of me tells me that, for the most part, there is no point. The only point would be to convince certain people of their errors, but this is another example of the endless drama that goes on here and the people who need convincing (or chasing away) will never be convinced. They are immune.

Well, this is a discussion forum. And beating heads against walls is an age-old pasttime and it's certainly time to start producing substantive posts as an example rather than the ordinary (all too ordinary) chattering nonsense that has become the norm these days.
