All those who are surprised that this Bush would even try to blame President Clinton for our economic woes, raise their left eyebrow! Even if it were not two years later and beginning election time, this antic gets a whopping horselaugh.

What a preposterous insult that all of President Clinton's accomplishments in safeguarding Social Security, promoting child care, health care, holding corporate accountability, preserving the environment, withholding tax ripoffs for rich cronies, and above all his building and stabilizing international peace accords, are now all held responsible for state budgets being over the barrel, that retirement reserves are depleted, that there are monumental security costs, and that massive job layoffs continue.

This executive knows damn well that this is another lie, and he has the unmitigated gall to try to say it with a straight face! Can you spell "surplus"?
