I've heard someone mentioned this place in a book but he never elaborated on the subject.

From what I have understood it is supposed to be something like the myth of Atlantis.

Does anyone know anything about this place?

Mu is, like Atlantis, a mythical civilisation believed by the gullbile to have had advanced technology. It was also known as Lemuria (if memory serves). Google is the way to find out more.
