Speaking of recognition and unrealistic plans...

The Palestinian Authority's chief Islamic judge, Sheikh Tayseer Rajab Tamimi, said on Wednesday that there was no evidence to back up claims that Jews had ever lived in Jerusalem or that the Temple ever existed.

That's the PA's chief religious authority, not HAMAS' or "Palestinian" Islamic Jihad's. Our "liberal' so-called partners in peace. See, THIS is the real face of the people who we are supposed to trust to recognize us and be friends with us. The real "Palestinian" leaders, the majority, are not people like Fayyad who is westernized and wants to build a state, but those who grandstand and incite and demagogue, and REJECT. Fayyad, if ran independently in "Palestinian" elections would barely get 10% of the vote, and that too is a stretch. Of course, that's if the voters only came from Judea and Samaria ("West Bank"). In Gaza he'd probably get 2%.

What about the terrorist murderers from Gaza? Here's what they think about Fayyad's plans:

Hamas and Islamic Jihad on Wednesday rejected the political platform of PA Prime Minister Salaam Fayad.
...
The two Islamic groups said in response that the only way to establish a state was through "armed struggle." They said that Fayad's plan was unrealistic and unclear, adding that it would be impossible to establish a state "under occupation."

1) There is no occupation to work against Fayyad. Israel's government has always been insisting on this infrastructure to be built, and especially now too, despite the security threats. Arafat has for decades refused to spend gifted western money in infrastructure, reasoning that "making 'Palestinians' comfortable will make them forget about the 'resistence'". So you see, It's in Israel's interest for Fayyad's plans to come to fruition, as it has been for decades.

2) Pre-State Jews had a much more hostile British occupation that thwarted Jewish state-building efforts at every turn, and murdering mobs of Arabs constantly harassing, murdering and rioting against Jews, and yet a state infrastructure and even an army were created from scratch, without modern available technology and the entire world's help, like the "Palestinians" are enjoying today.

HAMAS & co. are wrong on the facts, wrong in the demagoguery, and wrong in their strategy. The real reason they are rejecting this is not because it isn't viable or unachievable under the given circumstances, but because creating state infrastructure is against their interests. They know that it would mean that down the road they'd have to recognize Israel's existence and stop trying to commit genocide with Iran's help. So they come up with illogical reasons why Fayyad's plan will fail.

Building state infrastructure is actually quite easy. You've got western money, expertise, goodwill, cooperation and encouragement from Israel, etc. All you've got to do is want it. The hard part is to convince bloody murderers to stop sabotaging their own peoples' efforts.

So there are no IDF force in palestinian lands? Bullshit its in Israel interest they want to fucking annex that land

Thwarted it. Are you fucking serious? they bent over backwards for the jews. and they had outside help. Your history is as bad as your opinions and beliefs. I mean god forbid they occasionly threw a bone to the majority of the resident population.

still repeating the tired old Israeli propaganda. Israel want their to be infrastructure so bad that they blow it up. and creating a state for them selves doesn't mean they have to recognize Israel's existence and no person who cares about the law should IMO.

Im all for the first ever state of Palestine. A new country would be great.

Now if Hamas and Fatah can stop killing each other and form a government of national unity then that would be really fantastic.

Are Palestinians pshycologically read for their first ever country? Im not sure... I hope they are.

they have tried repeatedly but have always been prevented by outside forces.

The Palestinians have been prevented by their own Tribal Clan Mentality, how many of the myriad militias are clan based, starting with Hamas and Fatah, if the Arabs of Palestine can create a state, I see it being brought about by the same method as Saddam used, and one clan, or one of the religious theologies crushes all opposition and rules supreme.

You're kidding. Tribal Clan Mentality? You mean like one which goes back to a 5000 year old book? That kind? Doesn't mix with other people, that kind? Has divisions of goy and kosher? That kind? Which requires a Jewish state and ethnic cleansing of natives? That kind of tribal mentality?

Mind boggling, really. When was the last time in their entire history that ANYONE complained about the Palestinians not sharing with them? Its the Zionists who worry about the demographic threat, so much so that they've even abandoned and twisted their own laws of what a Jew is just to keep the numbers up.

Well SAM if you care to notice, the Jews of Israel aren't murdering each other in a power struggle over who is going to control the money skim.

Yeah, occupation sucks and people are corrupt. Even the Jews know that the worst cops in Warsaw were the Jewish ghetto police.

Fatah collaborated with the US out of their own self interest against a common enemy. Hamas is the obstacle to Palestinian unity.

HAMAS is an obstacle to many things.
1) (partially) to Iran's letting go of their nuclear weapons ambition
2) To a "Palestinian" state
3) To being friends with the western world
4) To being friends with Israel
5) To regular "Palestinians'" wellbeing

4) To being friends with Israel
The biggest obstacle with being friends with Israel is Israel. When people try and steal your land claim you never had any claim to your land, claim you were never a people, and constantly prevent you from building your state they are the obstacle to being friends.

It's about time the Palestinians started building a state. And when they're done building it they will have everything they need to live until the sun stops shining. At that point, if they want more land they will have to see what Jordan, Egypt and Syria are willing to give. Imagine Germany demanding land from Poland- no, I don't think so.

A bit like this kind of Tribal Clan Mentality?
Our goal is the building of the Third Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in our lifetime in accordance with the Word of G-d and all the Hebrew prophets and the liberation of the Temple Mount from Arab (Islamic) occupation so that it may be consecrated to the Name of G-d.(http://www.templemountfaithful.org/)

Regarding:
1. How in the world did you manage to squeeze Iran in here? :)
2. They are the democratically elected government.
3. Friends listen to you, care for you and support you. The Western world is not a friend.
4. Friends listen to you, care for you and support you. Israel is not a friend.
5. And the Israeli blockade, intimidation, murder, and restriction on freedom of movement and trade, has nothing to do with Palestinian well being?
