The standard answer would be "hate".
But I think a case can be made for "indifference".

Yep. Both love and hate are strong emotions. Two sides of the same coin.
Indifference or apathy would be a more meaningful opposite.

The opposite of love is not hate, it's apathy in my opinion.
But unfortunately if you're ugly like me the only thing you will get from women is apathy which is the opposite of love.
I feel like such a loser for being so ugly because I think that if you're pretty and especially if you're a pretty young lady you basically won everything in life.

Apathy is NOT acting. You may be able to experience any emotion with apathy, but you cannot express it.
