I am not a fan of Bells as a moderator, and I've been on the other end of her diatribes. I know what it's like. You have seen nothing, and in my view have earned the whipping. You have been one of the most intellectually dishonest--not to mention crude--posters seen here in some time. You'll deny it until you're blue in the face, but the ideas you forwarded in that thread were disgusting, and your denial of them demonstrated an immaturity that will make you the target of people who will not suffer your kind.

And while you're bending over backwards, like Bells, to claim I said these appalling, disgusting, terrible things in that thread; You're actually the dishonest one.

I've reached the conclusion that JDawg is correct- The folks here in their positions prefer to enjoy those positions without being held responsible for them.
Tiassa can stoop to justifying an absurd character attack and that's fine- but if a member does it, they are offered infraction points.

If a member stands up to defend himself- apparently the Mods team up to keep hammering him. If a member complains about Mod behavior- the Mods- Trippy, in this case, employs intellectual dishonesty to be misleading in what he implies in order to make it appear as though I just Jump To Conclusions, nevermind that the whose bullshit argument would have been spared to us if Bells did not jump to wild conclusions, then attack members.

When people have that, they are either posting from the same place or they are a sockpuppet.

So he asked you if you are posting from the same place or if it is a sockpuppet of some kind.

If you are posting from the same place, then let James R know. We do have couples and people who work together, etc, who have identical IP addresses. If you wish to continue posting, although after the abusive spray you have been letting rip, burning your bridges it seems, then you can let him know.

And I think you have some cheek to accuse him of being out of touch or eager to find an excuse to ban you. If he needed an excuse, the identical IP addresses could have been enough to indicate that seagypsy was your sock. Instead he gave you the benefit of the doubt and asked you directly. And he has real life commitments which take precedent over this site. We can't expect him to give up his job just to cater to your every complaint. It is unfair to expect any moderator or adminstrator of this site to be available 24/7. We are unpaid volunteers. I have seen James log on at all hours in the middle of the night to try and catch up with everything that is going on. So yeah, screw you! You have absolutely no right to make such an accusation.

We only get reports from the forums we have mod powers over.. Not every single forum. And if you report many posts, sometimes things do get lost in the fray..

Did you say in your report 'we're together'? I find it strange that you would, but whatever.. Seeing that you are possibly reporting a lot of posts from the same thread? Yes? No? I for one just click on the link when I receive a report as I want to read the post for myself without any outside influence affecting how I read it. Perhaps the supermods and admin are the same.

None of that is necessary. We don't need or want to know your phone number, webcam with you or call you to speak to you. And I am fairly certain that none of us would really ever want to take the step of meeting you to prove your identity.

All we wanted was confirmation, by PM, that you were separate people and not a sockpuppet. It was why I requested someone ask you both first because I was the one who noticed a couple of days ago that you had the same IP address. It was either a case of you post from the same IP (ie same building, residence, work, as one moderator noted as well, library, etc) or you were a sockpuppet. I can usually spot a sock because their posting style is virtually identical and while the two of you do post in the same threads, you post in a more coherent manner and aren't prone to large blocks of bold text and capital letters. Things like that kind of stand out.

So it isn't necessary to send anyone your phone number. A PM saying we work, live in same building, etc, would have been more than sufficient.
