I believe in hell.

Anyone who comes and declares to be saved from hell - I want to see what they are worth, whether they can be believed.

But when such a person simply asserts that absolute knowledge and shifts the onus of proof on me - this is disheartening.

Asserting an absolute might be fine if one wants to manipulate people.
But it makes for lousy communication.

To all those who believe in hell, but don't know the way to save themselves from it, you have declared war. Don't complain about how you are being treated then.

Just waiting for someone to start complaining about madant, that at least seems plausible (I'm not complaining...just wondering when someone will start that too.)

I usually edit your posts for language. And yeah more S&S than B&G, though the last post I deleted was from B&G. Something about draqon in the antibiotics thread.

Perhaps this person should be put on probation. There does seem to be the root of much grief that should be looked into.
 
It has become clear that Sam continues to be intellectually dishonest and has resorted to lying, for whatever reason. We can therefore conclude that Sam has probably been lying about a great many things and that little of what she says is probably valid, about herself, her family, or anything else.

Why is that?

Simple, lying is permitted in Islam, very much in the same way killing and war are permitted in Islam.

The problem, of course, is that Muslims use those permissions to promote their own agendas by justifying anything they want.
