I think if you got to know people like those, you wouldn't make such foolish statements. I would highly recommend meeting people like this. Here in San Diego we have a program called "two scientists walk into a bar" that has scientists go to local bars to talk to people who want to stop by; perhaps there's a similar program in your area.

Of course! As yet we have no evidence for such claims.

And yes, it really is just thrown out the window before it is ever evaluated, because according to the Method, it does not exist in the first place.

All we have is claims based on incredulity...there is no real evidence to evaluate.

Why attempt to fairly evaluate something that is not even supposed to exist?

By your reasoning, and which I whole heartedly agree, we should not have a religious forum.
But the scientific method being what it is, and the average every day scientist being what he/she is, they must operate on the premise of justice not only being done, but being seen to be done.
I bet my short and curlies you would not get that sense of fair play, practicing science and cosmology in the back of a church!!

That simple fact that both you and I have very different ideas of love.

Here's a thought, forget about loving others that aren't your family and instead, try respecting people. I know that's probably a very new and difficult idea for you to understand, but it goes a lot further than love when it comes to non-family members.

Nope, that is entirely wrong, our discussions have nothing to do with love and everything to do with truth and respect. Firstly, we have to earn the respect for one another and the only way to do that is to speak the truth. If we are truthful to each other, we can easily respect one another without the need to invoke love.

Love your family and only your family, that way you'll learn to start understanding the real meaning of the word, "Love"
