...is It possible for water to be made more dense so it does not evaporate? In this way there could be a lake feeding a waterfall that flows into a stream, that in turn feeds the lake. In this way it could be possible for the same droplet of water to simply recycle. Of course during its' stream journey, that would be the end of its' downwards travels.

Solar power could be used to add the required energy to balance the equation.

Sorry about my earlier rant but I had to unload it ... ( we just got really terrible news/confirmation here regarding our annual median temperatures from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology)
The question is not what we want to happen as we no longer have the luxury of choice. It is a question of what we need to happen.

Sustainability and a sustainable future.
Ideally what needs to happen is that the world devotes it's entire resource base including coal fired, nuclear and renewable energy and build sustainable environmentally protected cities including agriculture. It needs to start preparing and actually building a future. And we need to start now not tomorrow.
The problem is that the world will most likely require a major international, human life cost disaster of massive scales, before it will have a chance at getting it's act together and by then it will be too late for so many.
