Muslims say; religious freedom for me, but not for thee.

Also worth noting that the New Testament has calls for death as punishment:

Disobedience of a Slave (Ephesians 6:5).
Speaking in church (1 Corinthians 14:34–35).
Homosexual intercourse between women (Romans 1:26).
Homosexual intercourse between men (Romans 1:27).

Guess we're all gonna be killed, since I doubt we've all been silent in church...

That's funny. You must have a very different translation from my Jerusalem bible. There is no mention of death as punishment in any of these passages in my version. In fact punishment - of any sort - is not mentioned at all in the first two and the only punishment mentioned in the last two is abandonment by God. Nothing about death at all, let alone death meted out by men to other men.

What version are you referring to?

Actually there are 8 muslim countries which punish apostasy from Islam....
[snip]
This is clear evidence that Islam is intolerant....
No. It's clear evidence that there are 8 COUNTRIES that are intolerant. It says nothing about Islam.

The simple fact is this - unless you are willing to advocate for wholesale extermination on a scale that makes the Holocaust look like a barfight, then you aren't going to "stop" Islamic Extremists through force... and in fact, all you will do by bombing the shit out of their countries is help them recruit MORE people, as we have seen happen time and again. They hide in the civilians, forcing us to inflict collateral damages, and then use said civilian deaths as propaganda to recruit.

That isn't something we can win through military force.

If one cares to dig even a little, this could be said of all major world religions.

You are likely correct.

So you are a fundamentalist who hates other religions. Let's hope you don't decide that jihad is the answer.

I don't really hate any other religions. I dislike evil people, but I find that they exist whether or not religion does.

I hate only those religions that are intolerant, homophobic and misogynous and who would deny all people equality under the law.

If you do not hate those same evil religions which continue to do evil, your morals are as poor as theirs are.

The irony of this statement is that you are equally intolerant of others for their religious beliefs and wish to destroy them because of it...

You do see the irony of your own intolerance, yes?

What you are advocating for is the abolishing of religious belief.. You wish to deny people their freedoms.

Aren't you just as intolerant and as hateful as the religions you claim are intolerant and hateful? In your case, you wish to deny religious freedoms to billions of people.

Well you don't believe in equality under the law. Because equality under the law protects one's religious rights to worship and believe in what they please. You seem to wish to remove any sense of equality and discriminate because of their religious beliefs.

Tell me, why are your beliefs more important than anyone else's?

Yes I am intolerant with those who are intolerant.

Let me expand that answer this way.

Morality that requires hate is the morality of terrorists. Let go of your hate before it destroys you.

Has this god a name? Are you leaning towards a very early jewish religion?
I gather from this... The god you found does speak to you?(top quote). So, your god is not the god of The Bible?

Hell no. I would reject that prick even if he showed his genocidal son murdering face.

The Gnostic Christian tradition I follow say that my God is I am and yes, I really mean me.

That is what Jesus taught when he, or the scribes at least, coined these.

Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Like the Karaite Jews, Gnostic Christians put man above God.

We are to seek the Jesus mind and write good laws in our hearts and guide ourselves.

Calling my God I am just says that I follow my conscience and not the council of the garbage religions that the mainstream offer.

Allen Watts break this down for you if you have the time to listen.

In effect, a Gnostic Christian is a perpetual seeker just as our wise forefathers were before foolish religions began idol worshiping immoral Gods. That is explained well by one of my favorite scholars, Karen Armstrong.

Morality that requires hate is the morality of terrorists. Let go of your hate before it destroys you.

You show your poor morality yet again.

I am with the 70% of intelligent people while you are with the dumb and immoral 30%.

Listen. Learn, if you still can because if you do not know what to hate, you will not know what to love.

In terms of that link, if you do not harm when required, those you love will pay for your incompetence and poor morals.

Maybe he should learn to love his enemies.

Or maybe he despises that injunction too.

It is unworkable.

If you are being raped, will you tell your rapist how much you love him?

Your answer shows how stupid you sound when using that really stupid saying.
