Miraculously Cured of Hepatitis C

Many years ago, I drank from the cup of a questionable person with bleeding gums. Afterwards, I had contracted jaundice, a symptom of hepatitis C which causes a yellowing of the skin. Shortly afterwards, I was diagnosed with hep C. At the time, it was an incurable disease. I read that this disease can take 10 years off your life! I cried out to Jesus! My test scores began coming back negative with no signs of ever having it in the first place…I have had many blood tests done since then and not one came back positive for Hep C anti-bodies. I believe it was Jesus as Healer who cured me. Jesus added 10 years to my life. And now, I have a job that requires clean blood and much of what I own, including this computer I’m typing on, comes from it. This is another way in which the Lord has truly provided for me and my family. Thank you, Jesus.

Mark 16:17-18 These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents [with their hands], and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

Here is a testimony of Jesus healing a ten year old child of hepatitis C and a doctor confirming it –

Hep C resolves spontaneously in many cases, especially in young people and in females: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hepatitis_C

So it is not necessarily incurable and hence there is nothing miraculous about someone shaking it off, especially if young and female.

When I was a teenager I had terrible jobs. I was cleaning toilets! Raking leaves! I prayed to Jesus for a better job!

At first he did not answer me. So I worked hard in high school and got in to MIT. And he STILL did not answer my prayers! At MIT I was working in the kitchens, washing dishes and serving food. Why had he forsaken me and left me to these terrible jobs?

I PRAYED and I PRAYED! For years! I also finished my coursework and did a few unpaid internships.

Then I graduated and mailed in applications to companies in the old fashioned way, with a stamp and an envelope. The next day I STILL did not have a job! I PRAYED some more!

Then a few days later - I got a job offer back! Jesus had answered my prayers!

Or maybe it was Allah. Prayed to him too.

Not only that, but according to the Wiki article, one can recover on one's own in a significant proportion of cases.

Well there would be if, as seems to be the case:-

- you can recover unaided,
- you are a believer in the power of prayer, and
- you are a bit credulous.

The fact remains that, since spontaneous recovery can quite often occur, none of these testimonies is evidence of any intervention by The Almighty.

Ours is a testimony which is admissible in a court of law as evidence suggesting the truth.

It would be thrown out by the judge, though, because recovery can occur quite naturally anyway. So that would make your “testimony” mere personal opinion rather than actual evidence.
